Privacy Policy
1. Image files you convert
Img2PDF's core tool runs client-side: when you select or drop image files, they are read directly by your browser's JavaScript engine and written into a PDF locally on your device. At no point are these image files sent over the network to Img2PDF or any third party. We do not see, receive, or store the contents of any file you convert.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate, anonymized traffic patterns — for example, how many people visit, which pages are popular, and which country or device type visitors typically use. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as your approximate location (typically city-level, derived from IP address), browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. IP addresses are anonymized before storage.
We also fire a single anonymous event (page category, settings used, and image count only — never file contents or filenames) when you successfully generate a PDF, purely to understand which features are used. No image data is included in this event.
3. Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics for the purposes described above. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. Third-party services
This site loads a small number of third-party resources needed for it to function or display correctly:
- Google Fonts — for the site's typography.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) — to load the jsPDF library used to generate PDF files in your browser.
- Google Analytics — for anonymized traffic analytics, as described above.
Loading these resources may expose your IP address and browser information to those third parties in the normal course of serving the resource, subject to their own privacy policies.
5. Data retention
Since image files are never transmitted to us, we have nothing to retain or delete on that front. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data collected about you (for example under GDPR or CCPA). Because Img2PDF does not maintain user accounts or store your converted files, there is generally no personal file data to request. For questions about analytics data, contact us using the details below.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
9. Contact
